So. I hope that everyone enjoyed the Crime In Stereo interview. After that interview we proceeded to bar hop and stayed out to the wee hours. It was a good night. And I have to say that I’m impressed with how far a little alcohol and being a nice guy will get you. I made some good friends, and I can’t wait to have everyone visit again.

I also feel energized to do more work for this blog. I talked to Brian and John from Scapegoat Tattoo about the possibility of an interview. They agreed and we’re working on a time.

But tonight, I interviewed my good friend Danny McCall. Danny is the singer in a band called Scared To Death. I’ve been a big fan of this band for a while. And Danny personally is a good friend I’ve known for years. We had a chat about his passion for film, punk rock, and Redding, California.

I think that I’m going to experiment a bit more with clips and pieces that should make the interviews a little more clear for the viewer. I know that the sound isn’t awesome. I know the light is washy. I know the picture isn’t crystal clear. But it’s what I have right now. And I think that the stripped down nature of it leaves an impression of simplicity and nothing frivolous.

That being said, I’d like to put a bit more time and effort into the editing process. So you can expect the video sometime later this week.

Other than interviewing Brian and John, I’m planning on interview This Time Next Year, and if I can get a few minutes (or if they stay at my house), Fireworks. I also am going to get lunch at Wolf and Bear’s, so I’ll find out the names of the two lovely people who work there and see if I can make some time to interview them as well.

Again, if you know anyone interesting with a background or passion that you think should be brought to light in the greater Portland area. Let me know, I’m interested in many different fields and sub-cultures. So no person is out of the question.

Thanks to friends for your criticism, respect, and support.
